In this post, I'd like to talk about a new bad experience for a vendor on Fiverr, and I chose to give up on the stage altogether.
How A Normal Order Instantly Turned Into A Hostage Situation
(I've been guiding her on building a respectable account, and the way to go above and beyond every last order. Everything mentioned is that her doing, I'm just an observer.)
In this case, she had only gotten another $5 sequence on her emblem gig, which seemed to be just like any other... or so we believed.
The order was fulfilled in great time, and my buddy had included a bonus logo concept as well as the source file (that is usually a part of the costlier package).

While she took a while to ponder a response and reach to Fiverr support for assistance, the customer did eventually go ahead and render a 1 star review.
Presumably this was to demonstrate her he/she wasn't The truth about buying Twitter followers from Fiverr - Buy Twitter ... kidding.
Shortly after, while still waiting on Fiverr's answer to the support query, the customer paid an additional $10 for the social media kit.
Needless to say, the payment has been accompanied by yet another danger.
Now, all I wanted to do was move all Liam Neeson and seek this person down so I could punch them in the face.
However, in the moment, I had hope that Fiverr support would step in and save my girlfriend from that PITA client.

Okay, that is reasonable enough. (Even though the purchaser accepted it.)
They also proposed drawing up a listing for the purchaser to reveal the job has been completed in accordance with the gig requirements.
My girlfriend hauled in her first email that the customer was attempting to extort her for free work out the agreed conditions, by leaving a negative inspection if she did not comply.

Since she had asked the client to change their opinions, she was no longer entitled to some assistance from Fiverr support.
It is possible to imagine how we felt studying this.
What the buyer had said and done prior to her final message has been now being swept under the rug -- like never happened whatsoever.
Fiverr essentially decided to encourage a manipulative bully, leaving my girlfriend with a permanent stain in an account she had worked so hard to build up.
And think, there are plenty of buyers doing exactly this on Fiverr, knowing they could and will eliminate it.
Well, as most of this was happening, I did a little investigating to determine if some other vendors went through a similar ordeal with an individual purchaser.
Very quickly, I found a range of nearly identical cases about the Fiverr forum dated years back. (that's correct, years.)
This is clearly something which's been going on for quite a while and it stems from giving buyers also much power over vendors.
When there's one thing I've heard about Fiverr, it's that clients are ALWAYS more valued than freelancers.
Doesn't matter how long you put into a project, or how hard you worked on itor perhaps how long you managed communication in a dispute, if it really comes down to it... freelancers have little to no security.
Even when it's a clear cut situation in your favor, there is still every chance the client will come out on top. All it takes it one little thing you"did no way" according to their terms of service and EVERYTHING else is ignored
Taking a look at the evidence, it's obvious to me Fiverr is well aware of what's going on, yet remains eager to settle back and let it happen.
A Last Message To Fiverr. If you're a decision maker at Fiverr and you are reading this, then I urge you to seriously reconsider your current support procedures for freelancers.
It is not right that somebody can put all that time and effort into building up an account and also over-delivering at every conceivable chance, only to be taken down by the very people that you rely on to protect you.
Look, I really don't want to leave Fiverr. I don't need to be telling folks to avoid your system.
But after everything that's happened, you haven't read the article left me any choice.
Until something is done to protect freelancers from using this kind of abuse, I will continue to propagate this article and do whatever I could to stop others from falling prey to your one-sided support team.
